G'day! I have a PH-2 that I'm starting to suspect has had the trim-pots twiddled sometime in the past. Just doesn't sound "right" - not a component failure, just not right.

Does anyone know where I can get the workshop notes (preferably the ones with waveforms)? A schematic would be great too!!

Thanks in advance,
laurie.

PS: I've looked in all the usual places on the WWW and the PH-2 (and PH-3) schematics seem to be missing in action

Hi Laurie

Check your PM.
Sch. only, please let me know if you get the actual service notes.

Perhaps Ssanyee or Christo might have them.

Regards Dr. Bob

Hmmm... just pulled it apart. There is only one trim-pot and it has a drop of paint/wax holding it in the factory position. Guess it's just my ears

Thank you both for the schematic! It always makes more sense when you can see the signal path!

Hi Laurie, Bob, Christo, Guys,

The reason of the trimpot can be same as in case of chorus pedals: to adjust minimum distortion at the output of the IR3109 IC (normally I guess should be adjusted to half supplied voltage).
Hope the schem you have got from Dr. Bob and from Christo are okay for you!
I have PH-3 schem, inform me if it is needed to you!

cheers
