| i wish they made a bcb-120, longer from front to back, not side to side tho, my 60 is overflowing, and i use more than 6 pedals, i like how the pedals fit into the foam, i guess i could do the same idea from what ive read, but the case for the bcb-60 is just so compact and lightweight, i dont want to carry around a flight case the size of a surfboard or anything. thoughts? feelings? |

hey HAMMERPANTS
Behringer make this 12 way pedalboard called the PEDAL BOARD PB1000 http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/PB1000.aspx
Front page news: Behringer are proud to announce an all new from the ground up web site for 2009.
It just took me 15 minutes, waiting for the @$#@*& pages to load, using FireFox 3.x.
Now I guess I won't be going there very much after that effort. And I have a reason to be a little more peed off.
Maybe I had to use the German version of IE or FF I wonder if anyone actually tested this, before they went live.
Can a few of you guys see if you are having the same problem, especially if you use FireFox3.x For reference, every other site I visited, worked fine.
Regards Dr. Bob (frustrated)

| thats what im talkin about dr bob, is that an effects loop i see on there? just like bcb-60? also do you think that because behringer pedals have a curve running along the bottom that boss and more straight on the bottom pedals would fall out? ive yet to see one anywhere, but thats exactly what i had in mind, itd be cool as well if it came with blank foam pads like bcb-60 to creat a section for non boss sized pedal, i.e. mxr, wahs, whammys, and whatever else. thanks for waiting 15 minutes to load the page. |

Hi HAMMERPANTS I guess you'll just have to take a few Boss pedals along with you, & go visit a local BehringClone dealer. And check if they fit?
My guess is that the PB1000 was really designed to accommodate the worlds most common, & well know pedal..... Now I wonder which brand that could be?
Then report your findings back to us.
I have the BehringClone 2008 yellow catalog, I will see what it says about the PB1000.
To be honest, it was a bit too big for me, even though it was on special, & a load cheaper than the BCB-60.
How did you go with their NEW all improved web page? Go to the pedals section.

| yeah the pedal section was givin me a problem, had to pull the ol' right click, close maneuver. i saw the manual they have online, and do you think that because it doesnt have an effects loop on it like the bcb-60, that it would make a huge difference, i mean all i have running the the board effects loop is mxr equilizer, maxon od9, noise suppresor, and tuner. i guess i can plug that shit into the front. my delays and soon to have chorus will be running through the amps effects loop, im too lazy to try putting the noise suppresor through the amp effects loop like ive been recommended, it sounds good through the board loop, also the ns-2 has a loop, not sure what the best option would be, confused slightly, too many possible loop configurations.idk, thoughts, opinions |

..Don't even go there....i've been trying to inc some rack units into my setup and i gave up 'cause my head was hurting so much... all the possible loops,A/B/boxes etc to make it work.....i made my own board out of some ply and lenths of 2x1" easy enough to do....i would imagine the 12 pedal board would be very heavy if your planning on gigging/rehearsing with it..... |

Hi HAMMERPANTS
I found this review of the PB1000, & 2 of the 4 reviewers state, it fits Boss pedals, as we speculated ... http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Effects/product/Behringer/PB1000+Pedalboard/10/1
If you look very carefully at the pictures of the PB1000, it has rectangular cutouts in the foam, to accommodate Boss style pedals.
It seems to get good reviews.
One of my local music stores, where I first saw one, has them listed at sub $160au. Now if they only made a 6 or 7 way case, I guess that's possibly, one of the line ups for 2009????

| thanks for the hunting of the info dr. bob, the aquisition of pb1000 might be a nice temporary solution for myself, yeah i either want all pedals with a gcx audio switcher or all rack stuff, too much stuff to remember when you have a serious rack AND pedals, i just hate too many options while tweeking shit, so i got rid of my rack stuff like 8 years ago, although the mesa 2:90 and the triaxis has very lethal distorions, enough that would make any boss sd, od, hm, or whatever other two letter combo pedal go back into hiding, (im not hating, im a boss fan as well, settle down fellow brethren) that amp coupled with the g major sounded very nice, idk, i just never fully welcomed midi into my life. oh jeezus and there was this one time when i bought a vetta, which did not please me in the long run as there was WAY too many options, and couldnt cut through any sort of band situation even if it had a running chainsaw bolted to the top of it, i guess i should break down and just get the gcx so i can have amp channel and pedal config switching all at the touch of one button, i hate tap dancing. |

I've had a few Behringer pedals in the past and they are not exactly the smae size as the boss pedals but they are very close. Close enough to fit into a BCB-30 which doesn't have foam and just has plastic around the pedals.
I've seen on of these Behringer boards in a local music store and when I had a bit of a play with it it was very heavy and the construction just didn't seem as good as the Boss boards. Just felt like the thing didn't fit together as well or something.
Just a couple of things to consider. |
