| I received my BOSS frv-1 today! Not much to say yet. I imagine the rest of you should start seeing them soon. |

| My local music store (a BOSS dealer) ordered it for me a few days after it was announced. |

Heh, my Sweetwater rep called me today & asked if I wanted some fast shipping.. I said "Naw, just give it to me cheap!"
OT: Goran, you ever get any Boss collectibles or gizmos from your Boss connection (girl as I remember)? A lot of folks have some cool stuff.
Sure lookin' forward to how the pedal fairs for you DrakeSequation... |

Yes I have got quite few things from Roland Scandinavia; the DS-1 mouse of course, key-holders, guitar strap (Boss marked), Boss lamp, Picks, stickers and more. A good way to get a contact at Roland is to ask questions and point at the fact that you are a collector and tells everyone that Boss is the best |

| It should be good, to justify the same price tag as a DD-7.(which has significantly more modes). |

I will try and get pics up within a few hours. It depends how fast I can get the kiddos to sleep.
Interesting notes: It doesn't come with the typical instruction booklet. The instructions are a H U G E multi-lingual fold-out about the size of Twin Pedal instructions that unfold to about 19 x 33 inches! A poster of polyglot goodness. The plate under the control knobs is actually brown, not black (I thought it was black when I saw the original release pics).
My main guitar interest in instrumental surf, so this was a dream come true. I mentioned that this was my dream pedal when I purchased my FBM-1 and FDR-1 from my retailer over a year ago, so karma feels good.
I'm not much for writing reviews... But because I love you all SOOOOOOOO much...
As I said, I am a deep devotee of surf, so I know the Fender Reverb sound very well (I saw Dick Dale live six weeks ago, so that drip is still ringing in my ears!). I used to have a genuine Fender '63 Reverb tank. I don't know how to write a very detailed review as there aren't a variety of modes or variables to consider, so the short version is this pedal is PERFECT. It absolutely nails that Fender sound. Very nice attack and decay. It definately doesn't sound digital. I don't think BOSS could have done any better on this. Out of ten, I would give it a 9.5+/10.
(For comparison, I would give the FBM-1 and FDR-1 7.5/10, although I like both pedals more than that score would indicate).
Hopefully I'll have more to add soon. I'm trying to get this written before the children arrive.
