I just checked my serial number via the serial number decoder on this site. The pedal is a green-labal Japan model with the MN3007 chip.

The goofy part is that the serial number comes up as 1987, five years after production ceased.

TIA for any info.

the site years listed on the CE-2 page are the "official" years that the pedal was in production. CE-2's were produced all the way until around 1990-1992. the 1987 is likely accurate for a Green Label MIJ.
