I got my 7th Telecaster today, as I mention and who in this thread: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4580
But I am considering changing the stock pickguard to a white one as I feel the stock one distracts from the beautiful grain on the burl top, but just wanted to see what others think.
Here's stock:

Like I said, I am leaning towards the white, but what do yall think? |

hi jack, congrats on the great guitar (now i wanna get one, get one, get one) are there body routs under the pickguard? if there are none, you could even use a clear pickguard to have a full view of the nice body. however, if there are routs then the white is the best for it. LDR |

Its funny you mention a clear pickguard, cause the grain is nice, but there is one of those angle routes under the guard, but a friend of mine was saying that too...
