Hi - I've got a chance at a long dash CE-2 - tell me why I should want this and what they're worth?

Depends on the condition. $110 to $160.

I have an '87 CE-2 that is great. What's the advantage to this one? Different chips or something?

Oh, you have one that you like already? Unless you're a little obsessive, there may or may not be a reason to get the long dash, then. I think the long dash sounds warmer / better, but that's just me.

I can't hear any difference between my 3 CE-2s. The oldest is a long dash/silver screw while the newest is from 1986. The only thing that I know has changed internally is the brand of capacitors. Othewise I think they're all the same.
