So I have had a few DF-2s now, and they always seem noisy just being in my signal chain, not switched on mind you, just sitting, buzzing away. Anyone else have this experience? Can it be fixed somehow? And now a photo of the accused:
that'd be congruent with my findings for the VB-2 (apart from the fact that the VB-2 has a substitue bypass)
seems like pedals that have more than two states (on/off) are working like that.
in the case of the VB-2 the noise floor isn't too bad (actually it's fine - I had to turn my amp all the way up to hear a difference) - but it is there when you only use the foot pedal to switch it off - the noise floor only goes away when using the bypass knob
