I'd never heard of Solec, but they seem to be a generic Japanese brand/re-brand of the 80s. This one has been in a nearby shop window for a few months, and after failing to pick up either of the phasers I had my eye on, I 'needed' a new toy. I like the design:

Not as warm as the Boss BF-2 in lower ranges, but can sound creamy when you hit the right spot. I'll definitely be trying out some other Solec if I see them. |

I could read most of it.. it's a little hard for me to follow a native French speaker speaking since I'm so out of practice..
but they look like really unique effects/boxes - especially the Axolotl synth. |

Behringer tube overdrive TO100, real cheap, and to my big surprice it sounds quite good , like a TS9 but without the mid-hump, and lets a little more bass pass. Physically its not that impressive |

Benn a while since I checked in so here are a few I've picked up recently:
BYOC Lg Beaver MJM Phantom OD Jetter Gain Stage Red
So far the P-OD has earned a spot on the board.
Still trying to decide if the Muff clone has a place with what I do. It's pretty finicky.
I was going to try the GSR at my gig last night with the main/fender rig but I left it at the house and didn't get a chance...DOH! It sounds really good with my 335 and Mesa.

| Got one of the new BYOC Flangers last week and built it over the weekend. With the differential toggle switch there's a lot of great sound to be had out of this thing. |

Pedalhead - I'd love to hear your opinions on the Screw Driver.
I think in my quest for a good Muff variant I will pick up a Pig Mine - once available. |

I have traded my T-Rex Dr Swamp, didnt like it too much, for a Hartman Silicon fuzz. It will arrive on monday I hope. Over the years I have come to relly like fuzzes, the fuzzface type in particular. They make reaaly good overdrives when used with moderate settings as well as fine noise makers when cranked. |

Hi Shermock
Ok - I'm going to ask... What does it do? What it sound like?
Any chance of some internal pictures for our Pedal Internals thread?
