there is a bypass signal, when eventually turned on, the distortion comes in within a few seconds, a fading-in effect, it gradually occurs from minimal too maximum volume. when you by-pass it, and strum your guitar harder, the clean signal tends to distort, but fades out and cleans the guitar signal again. after several minutes of playing on a clean sound, when you turn-o again the pedal, it takes a few seconds (5sec mostly) before the distortion comes in gradually,
when you turn it on and off, the distortion comes in a quick way( but it has a fading-in effect)..
any clues on this?

| Check the voltage across C40. Is it 4.5VDC? |

Laurie, unfortunately, I don't have a multitester as o now, but I think the 4.5VDC comes in, because it also supplies the voltage for the opamps of the pedal, but, the problem is maybe the voltage gradually reaches the 4.5VDC which cause a fading-in effect?
here is a soundclip of the mt2 problem:

notice that, if you play longer in clean tone, it makes a long delay for the distortion to come up. if you engage the pedal on bypass mode, and you strum harder, the clean tone tends to distort, but cleans eventually...

I replaced C1 and C2 at the same time, on C3, I've just re-solder it.
