I dunno w/c pedal to choose from? If I'm going to buy a CS-3 or a GE-7? All I wan't is to fatten up my tone & to give my tone an added gain. And I don't know if the Ge-7 will deliver that or the CS-3. Thanks.

It is really hard to advise on your question. The GE-7 might be better at adding gain but the sound may feel fatter by compressing it using a CS-3.
Have a look at http://www.roland.co.jp/BOSS/index.html. This site contains sound samples for all current Boss pedals. Maybe it's easier to determine what you need from the samples.

Does the compression Sustainer CS-3 really does add gain? Coz' I don't wanna rush and buy things just to find out that I wouldn't use it coz its not what I'm after then sell them again. Btw I just want to fatten up my tone & add some gain using my OD-2 pedal. Coz I just love the sound of that OD but then again I need to push it a little so I can play harder music. I'm using a Zoom PD-01 Analog OD to push this thing a bit but still it's not enough.

I have the MT-2 but I don't like to use it as much as possible coz' The metalzone has no dynamics or whatsoever... No soul & w/o any character. THanks.

hey there rschua you have there the zoom pd 01 powerdriver od which in certain circles is known as a very good CLEAN booster. It is even compared to the klon.Have you tried turning down the gain to 0 and adjusting the three parameters(vol, treble and bass).Seroiusly tweak the pd 01 some more and theres no need to buy the other pedals you mentioned.

Yeah... I just use the PD-01 as a volume boost and a screamer for more blues tone. I guess I have to try to tweak it more to see and find if my PD-01 will deliver that solid DS gain that I'm after. Thanks... Btw does the Zoom PD-01 really sound like the Klon centaur? I haven't tried one coz it's kinda expensive. I have read the reviews on HC too. THanks...
