Did that pedal a couple years ago, even modded a SD1 for another forum member. Since I play it mostly with the stock clippers, might remove it for bandpass toggles to make up for the bass loss. |

| Change C4 to 0.022 uF but also C5 to 0.22 uF and R8 to 220 Ohm. |

thanks i just looked at the keeley mod and compared it to the monte allums sd-1 it is exactly the same except that keeley changes D5&D4 to 1n4002 clipping diodes and puts a germanium diode in d6 |

Is it not the other way around ?
Keeley puts a germanium diode in d6 and monte allums changes D5&D4 to 1n4002. |

opamp stacking , can you stack a Burr Brown & a Jrc4558d together? Is there any problem with this , I love the BB for its clarity but i love the Jrc for its crunchy harmonics !! |

I tried a few of your suggestions. I used the Led had a nice sound almost like a clean boost to it, with a combonation of a transistor and the led on a switch it seemed like the keeley ultra mod. just more volume, well i already have a pedal like that so i just choose to put in a 1N34A Germanium Diode, It kinda give the pedal some warmth
And here is the pedal finished with a brighter Greener Led , with a new led in my CS-3 |
