I'll have to watch that one, I like the tune. I did watch your other recommendation on another thread - the Digitech RP-350. Some great instantly accessible tones on there, I was surprised how (relatively) cheap these multi-effects units are nowadays, they were unaffordable many years back when I looked into them.
I agree JDM can be too hyper (for my reserved British tastes) but on the other hand if I was a Company Exec I'd want him as the salesman - he does have an very positive fun attitude about him.
A very happy chappie....but all in all good presentation and a very good guitar player..the clip with the dd6 where he uses the sound on sound function,he plays a joe pass type jazz improv....sounds tops...and the stuff he does with the loop station is very good as well...i've never heard of this guy before...i assume he plays he own material and has or is in a band....??.....
he is really good though. I got the cube 60 because of the video he made of it.
I think he has his own band, but its mostly just promoting boss. I saw a clip of him live somewhere, and first he said what he was using (boss), then he played a couple songs, told everyone to check out authentic boss products. He was only the opener though. Maybe he has a real band somewhere?
whats with the "authentic boss products" he keeps going on about....??....i know berhinger and a couple of other makers copied the boss type pedal case and colours etc... but you can't really mistake the boss logo....i don't mean to be offensive here but you would have to be pretty stupid to buy a copy or clone and think it's boss...or is he....
A/.... having a pop at the likes of monte allums and keeley for modding the pedals to a higher spec....??
B/...suggesting that someone is making pedals somwhere and passing them off as boss...?... in other words counterfeiting..or having a pop at berhinger...?
C/ or as some other forum members have pointed out ..he just goes on a bit over the top with his presentation...if as controlfreak said he plays in vegas that would explain a lot.....
