Some people on harmony central recommended that mod but i've read reports that it made the pedal seem a little 'colder' sounding... i've one of the newer ones(about 2 years old) and i haven't noticed much of a drop,i think it's the nature of tremoloes to sound like there is a drop when in use..i have ones built into two on my amps and when in use they sound like there is a slight drop as well..your best bet it to post this in the tech area..Christo of Dr Bob,Laurie etc would be the best people to help you on this...... the way i got around it was i use it in a loop on a LS-2 with a couple of DD-3's so i was able to increase the loops volume very slightly to compensate but again i don't think it's that bad to begin with compared to an amps tremolo......

Funny I have 2 Boss TR-2 Tremolo's and never had a problem with volume drop issue. What are your settings?

It just happens when I have it high, I had rate and depth to the max, and the shape one in the middle at 12 oclock.

I heard its happened to all the pre-2006 models.

Hi Guys

Apparently they fixed this problem in the later ones.

Regards Dr. Bob
