Here is another question from the new guy.
I have a DD-2 pedal with the blue Japan label but noticed something weird.
I looked on the Bossarea label page and this one doesn't match any of the labels on there?
I notice the last line on the ones pictured say "Complies with ....."
This one doesn't have that.
It is the lighter of the blue colors like the first one they have pictured.
The only reason I noticed this is because I cannot find a serial number anywhere in or on the pedal and was trying to get an idea when it was made.

Unless this is a common bonehead thing?
In that case Shoot me now!

This is the best I can do for now.
I put it in an old MSN pic group under the Marshall bass amp file I used to have.
Hope this works.
There are 3 different pics of the label, you can get the idea.
My camera and me were having a hard time getting a clean shot.

If somebody has the time, look at the pedal label page at "Type 7" right above the "Products of Roland" and compare to my blue label.
http://www.bossarea.com/labels/labels.htm
There appears to be something different.
Any ideas what is going here?

Looks like a label right before the FCC made changes to the use of digital equipment that cause RF.
Should be added to the label gallery.
Is that trick of the lights, or does it have black lettering?

Yeah, I took the picture kinda badly.
They are silver letters.
I will work on getting a better picture to send to whomever does the posting.
So would this be the actual #A-7 since there is already #7 and #7-b?

I try to get the boxes every chance I can.
Can't always find them, but I try.

Now,
Who do I send a good clear picture to?
Or does anyone care?

Never actually seen that label. The earliest DD-2 I've seen is my own 381800. Sadly it doesn't have a bottom label so I'm not sure if it originally had that label. Bussguy and Goran has early DD-2s too. It would be intersting to know if their labels misses the "compliance text" too.

Hi bossarea & guys
I think mine is a type 7, although, the lettering looks a bit more compact.
S/n 454300 - Aug 84 Cream lettering on control plate.

This one has serial 438900 (June 84) and has the FCC compliance bullet point.

Scrappy, do you have a higher resolution picture of your label? Would be great if I could use it to update the labels page.

Hi Scrappy & guys

Yes it does,
but the lettering seems to be a bit more condensed, allowing for the scaling of the pic labels on the forum.

Been a while since I was on here.
Did the label ever get added to the label page?
I was going to delete the pictures from the msn page, but thought I would see if they had been used or if you still wanted them?

Take Care,
scrappy1
