And consider, if you have the disease for Ibanez pedals as well...

my most expesive pedals were both DS-1s.

i bought an 1980's MIJ DS1 earlier this year, but it was in the USA, so by the time it was shipped to me, i was also charged VAT by customs, the price came out at around 80.

slightly more expensive was the Keeley DS1, which bought accross the counter cost 120.

i used both at a gig last weekend, and if i'm honest the differece was minimal, i found The MIJ sounded a little warmer, and seemed to emphasise the tone of my wah a little more, bit other than that it was hard to tell much difference.

PH-2 I bought as a teenage new back in the mid 90s for AUD$220 (about US$160). Back in the days before the internet, when the only competition was DOD and Ibanez Soundtanks, and before I knew the Australian Boss distributors rip the hell off the local consumers.

I recently picked up a used PS-2 with box, and it still had its original price sticker of AUD$359 on it. It was MIJ so I assume it was sold in 88-89, so taking inflation into account that would probably be something like $500 (US$375) in today's money. Crazy...

!!!sticker price of $160USD for a PH-2. tahts outrageous.

i still feel dirty for buying a brand new PS-5 for $220 CAD. but when youre in the guitar shop, and the pedal is in that certain light, it seems to just be calling you out, "Buy Me, im expensive, but im worth it. BUY ME!"

Well, I bought an RC-20XL brand new for a little over $250 I believe. Actually that was my Christmas present last year. I haven't made any other big purchases except my DD-5 for $116. I don't have any super rare ones to tell about.
