I wouldn't be surprised if he still uses the VI for recordings and just shows off the Hellcat at shows.
I wish I could afford the Fender. But I can't now so I'll have to stick with the Schecter.

I think he also used a DS-1 for a while.....

Slash (GNR) used a GE-7 for lead boost & feedback enhancement & a Boss DD-3.

Les Paul uses Boss exclusively.

Save and get one some day, it is amazing. Dialing it up with some chorus and delay ala robert is a heavenly sound. Great with a DD-3 or a DM-2.
