I'm about to buy one, and it's hard to get a common used price for them, as now ebay is full of new TS-9, TS-9 mods, and others.
I'd like to have your opinion. So, how much ?
Do several versions exists, and would they cost more/less than the other ? |

I don't know about the prices, but I was just reading this page today.

It describes the different versions of TS-9 & TS-808, and also gives tips on dating them by the backplates/serialnumbers.
I was surprised how similar the TS-808 reissue looks to the original, I wonder how many people have bought one on Ebay due to BIN fever thinking it was vintage.
Edit>> I forgot to add, you may have seen it, but there is a TS-9DX Turbo model modded for Bass if you scroll to the foot of that page. |

| Probably $200 max for one in excellent condition. They're not as collectable as the TS-808, although the difference is 2 resistor values. SRV is associated with the 808 although I've also read the TS he actually played was a TS10, which seem to be rising in value and commanding $100 at times. Any more than $200 for a TS-9 and you might as well buy a Maxon OD-9, which is a TS-9 made to the original 80s specs (I think - I don't thinks it's the rare 80s Ibanez OD-9 Overdrive) but it has true bypass switching. |

| I paid about 60 Euros for mine, but I bought as part of a pedal lot, most of which I sold off again. Anyway, I think you should not pay more than 80 Euros for it. ebay.de is always full of them and, if one is patient enough, it is possible to find a good deal. |
