Anyone have any suggestions for a supply that would drive about ten Boss pedals, one of them being a battery munching DC-2 and another being an RV-2 which is adapter-only?

I've thought about building one from scratch, but wondered if there was a decent commercial unit available.

I use the 1-Spot Multiple Power supply which will supposedly power over 20 pedals if you just daisy chain the multi-plugs together.

How 'bout a Boss RPW-7 like this:

I've got one of these, works great. Will deliver 700mA. You'd have to use some daisy chain cables or buy 2 of them to power 10 pedals.

Grace and peace,

Steve

Add up all the mA for all the pedals you want to power-up.

Go to a "cash converters" or ANY pawn shop, and ask to check their BOX of leftover power adapters. Loads of telephone answering machines, older cellphone battery charger et. al., come in various sizes and current output

Find one that puts out 9v and say atleast 1,000ma. ( I have one!!!! if you want to buyit, you can have it for shipping charges only!!!!!) Except I think its 12volts....

Buy TWO female sockets, one to fit the adapter you just bought (so you don't need to cut the wire on it) and one that fits a boss bcb power cable, solder the two together, and voila.

For under $5 and a bit of soldering you're done!

Wow, what a cheapskate. Buy a 1 spot & support the nice folks at Visual Sound. Help pay R.G. Keen's new salary.
