i found a hum in my pedal board and I attribute it to the PH-1r and ACA 120. THE ACA also powered a DS-1, SD-1, and a CE-2, the CE-2 and PH-1r hummed the worst; the DS-1 was SILENT, and SD-1 would moreso "hiss" than hum. I used the small daisy chain that comes with a BCB-3.
I love the PH-1r but the hum is maddening.
Should I just run all mypedals off the PSM-5? |

...... or a TU-2, or a NS-2, or an LS-2.
Out of curiosity, which ACA do you have? the ACA-120 (the beveled edges one) the ACA-120G (The current one you can still get) or the ACA-120 (old, without beveled edges)?

Try using a regulated adapter instead (such as the PSA). Any old-style (12v) ACA pedals you have will be fed full power as long as there's at least one regular pedal (like the PSM-5) connected to the same power and signal chain.

Good advice. I ran everything off the PSM-5 and no Hum! YaY. I use the Loop on the PSM-5 to switch between tuner and effects. works good. |
