I'm currently running a pretty "reduced" setup just a CS-1 and my Marshall Trinity (Blues Breaker, Drive Master & Shred Master)

Since I'm only looking for different overdrive tones I used a different approach then I did before.

I usually used an overdrive to boost a distortion pedal into solo mode.

But now I'm using the Blues Breaker at the end of my chain and use the Drive and Shred Master (almost clean) as colour changers in front of the Blues Breaker.....

so for those of you that own all of them and wanna give it a try the signal is

Guitar ->

-> CS-1

level: 5 o'clock
sustain: 9 o'clock
mode: treble

-> Shred Master

Gain: 10 o'clock
Bass: 7 o'clock
Contour: 2 o'clock
Treble: 5 o'clock
Volume: 5 o'clock

-> Drive Master

Gain: 10 o'clock
Bass: 1 o'clock
Middle: 8 o'clock
Treble: 5 o'clock
Volume: 5 o'clock

-> Blues Breaker

Gain: 3 o'clock
Tone: 11 o'clock
Volume: 3 o'clock

-> Yamaha NE-1 (Shallow 6 1/2)
-> Amp

just needed to be said - sorry if this means absolutely nothing to anyone but me

I've got 'em all MullyFX and I'm intrigued.

I'll hook them up and see what it sounds like - never tried that before. I'll let you know.

Thanks for the info

the Drive Master Blues Breaker combo is great for lead lines.... use a neck humbucker and crank up the mids on the DM

the Shred Master is a great EQ like boost for rythm stuff....

let me know what you think
