Anyone know where I can hear some clips of the different DC-2 settings? This pedal just looks so cool that I want it just for fun.

Not to be picky, but I'd like to hear some clips of someone playing chords rather than someone trying to impress with their wanking skills.

:)

Found one... and the DC-2 sounds amazing. I have got to find one (for less than $150).

Andreas' web site is really great. I've learned quite a bit from my reading here.

You might be able to locate one at that price, but it's probably going to be difficult -- you may have to go in with lower expectations for the pedal's exterior condition, or live without the original box it came in. I ended up getting one for a little under $170 this way. Or you might get a "buy it now" opportunity if your timing is good and you win the race to it. DC-2s are going to be right up there with DM-2s and DM-3s eventually though, I think, so you may want to begin your search in earnest.

Are DC-2 really that expensive now, I bought one for about $110 right before Christmas, nice condition but without carton. Its frightening how the prices skyrocket on certain items.
So you who dont have DC-2 have to find them fast.

A lot of it could just be timing, supply and demand at that particular moment. When I got mine that was what they were all pretty much auctioning at, but right now there's two up there that are less than $100 (one a fairly new auction, the other with about three days left). I could very well have overpaid for mine, but I've seen some go for more than I paid also. someone in the right place at the right time could end up getting a better deal.

I don't really care what condition it's in as long as it works. Given a choice, I would take one in better condition obviously, but this thing is going to get a lot of use from me. Plus, it will save me some money -- If I don't get the DC-2, I'm going to try to get a CE-1.
