So, we recorded a new demo over the past few days. It still needs vocals in the bridge, and a little more mixing, but other than that it's mostly done. Let me know what you guys think!

the song is "where is the end of you"

Used quite a bit of boss stuff, including the elusive hand clapper. Figured that alone made it worthy of posting over here.

A friend and I threw together some rough demos the last few times we got together. None are in their final forms yet. All songs will eventually have vocals. Pipe smoker and Rough dg demo still need to have bridges written for them. Most of the guitar tracks were done in one run, so some of the playing is a little sloppy. Songs have very little mixing and whatnot done to them. Pipe smoker and moving streets were both recorded direct into the computer. Anyways, just wanting to get some opinions to see what people like and what could be improved upon.
Gear used
Pipe Smoker: All Tracks Recorded Direct
Fender Telecaster, boss dc-2, boss dd-20, Cusack Screamer Gibson g-3 bass Boss HC-2 Hand Clapper M-audio keystation pro 88 fruity loops for drum tracks

Rough DG Demo: Guitar recorded with senheisser e906, Bass recorded direct. Not sure what microphones were used to record the drums.

Very UK 80's sound. THinking New Order-ish. (that's a compliment BTW)
Keep it up! |

Actually the other guy plays the g-3...his isn't too heavy though. At least not compared to the ernie ball stingray I have. |

| I'm all about the Pipe Smoker song. Can you send me an MP3 so I can have it on my ipod? If you could that would be awsome and I would love you forever (in a non gay way). If not then I respect that. |

First thing that came to my mind
The music is not my cup of tea, but not bad at all 'pipe smoker' reminds me a bit of 'U2' (the bass I guess)
I like to hear the songs with some vocals recorded |

Hi Williamh
I really like pipe smoker. It would go great with some lyrics. Reminds me of U2 a lot with the hole plam mutted track in the back ground.
Regards
