Hi Dr Bob....i read an article in the 'guitarist' magazine a few issues back where one of their reporters went to a guitar auction in the states where he bumped into a former guitarist from the band whitesnake a guy called bernie marsden(great guitar player and big guitar collector)who claimed that some people in the u.k. were forging vintage fender parts and passing them off as originals and pickguards of early teles was mentioned(the early blackguard versions)i think the idea was to put the forgery back on the vintage guitar for sale and sell the original parts off later(or maybe put the on a reissue and pass it off as original..)not very nice or honest either way..... but there is no way i would pay that for an original fender part either way......
Hey Strato SERIOUS now.... I have some SUPER, MEGA RARE, NEVER USED on any brand of pedal, WHITE - YES WHITE thumb screws. with real brass threads. Maybe I can get $350 or maybe even more, for each one.
Only 5-6 in (NOS)
They are Mega Mega Super Rare - never seen or used before. OR maybe I will create some new WS (White screw) pedals.
I can post some pics if you guys don't believe me..
