Anyone every replace a mode switch on one of these? Can you even buy replacements? Is it worth it?

Yes, yes and yes.

Call the local Roland parts guys. Switch should be somewhere between $10 and $20 plus shipping. Buy a couple of foot-switches as well for spares to offset the shipping...

Takes about 30 minutes if you are handy with a soldering iron and desolder braid.
