G'day! I have been very fortunate that the HZD Boost pedal has been selling well. Thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to buy one!
I am setting up for the next production run and am thinking seriously about making a "screen" for the pedal and was wondering if you would be kind enough to comment on the mock-up I've done. Don't hold back! If you hate it (or love it), let me know! Thanks!
PS: a couple of people have wondered why the "HIGH" and "LOW" EQ knobs are so close together... they are that close so that you can use the side of your shoe or toe to return them back to "flat" - like this:

Looks good to me !
From a practical point of view, the smallest font I have successfully screened is the Stone Box shown on the vibrato / reverb amp switch shown in the slideshow in the link below;

the lower case letters in Stone Box on that pedal are around 2mm x 2mm and in bold - not sure what size font that works out to though.
Bear this in mind when making the screen - using bold with the font also seems to help, especially the smaller the font that you use.

Great work with the pedal! I love the white gloss finish with white LED either way great choice.
I really like the main HZD Boost font it works well. Besides for that i think the control indicators are located to close to the knobs(i move the high text up a bit too much but you get the gist). the line through the knobs is a little distracting (i don't know if it was put there intentionally). The center negative and voltage sign looks a little odd, maybe i'm too used to the common symbol. Lastly the www.lauriepedals.com looks a little squished together making it hard to read. Oh and www.Lauriepedals.com or even LauriePedals.com looks even better (capitals)
Well just thinking my ideas aloud to help you. here's a quick scetch of what i mean.

maybe you could actually leave the website out it kind of clutters the area where the Laurie signature is supposed to draw the eyes. maybe just leave the website adres on the back of the pedal like i believe it already is.

As I might be on the list for that production run - I think that's great - I love it - count mine in! Lime green is my fave colour but I think maybe that's a bit over the top! 
The idea with the foot is bang on and is something I really appreciated when I used my old MXR Distortion + live for many years - I could turn the dirt down without scrabbling around on the floor. Perfect 
Getting more excited by the day.

The only thing I'm not sure of is the loss of the "www.lauriepedals.com" text off the front of the box. Maybe that's OK though/

I like the latest revision the most. Although, I like my HZD more because it's just white with the sig... but since I already have one I guess it doesn't really matter what the new ones will look like for me! |

+1... it has a real air of mystery about it,no one has a clue what it is... ...but i realise if Laurie wants to go into full production he needs to put some sort of logo or some device on the pedals..defo the website on the back if you ask me....the box around the EQ knobs is good with the high/low logo....different to other pedals i've seen... |
