Sorry to do this to youse guys but the Boss NS-2 sports a loop & rates higher than the ISP Decimator for noise reduction. The MXR Smart Gate seems pretty good. The Carl Martin looks great with its 2 setting functionality but ranks noisy in itself.
My ears are old, can you tell if the Boss sucks tone as compared to the ISP?

What noise suppressor do you think is tops & why?
Is there another brand I'm missing (non-rack model)?
I see one in my future according to my RE-20 rate-sweep LED.
