Mine has TFK BC130C, which according to several websites, are equivalent to the BC108c Dallas-Arbiter used in their second issue of the Fuzz Face. I can't find any other info on these transistors. Any help / insight from anyone? No one else on the internet has posted that their fuzz face has these. |

Hi Slow_Gear BC108's are just run of the mill, general purpose transistors They originally came in a metal can package the plastic & current well know version is the BC548
In the "Technical & Modifications" section look for the: "Free Online Chip Data Sites" -- thread it has a list of links, to free chip data sites.
To help you out a bit more, I have copied the three links, to here for you.
http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/ http://datasheet4u.com/ http://www.alldatasheet.com
And a link to 2SC equivalent transistors. http://perso.orange.fr/pouzou/site/composants/sc/2s0.htm
Are the BC130C's in a metal can? Maybe post a pick for us all to see. If I remember correctly the LAST-C in BC130C means the transistors, were from the high gain (hFE) batch.
How old - What vintage, is your Fuzz Face. You can get modern BC548's in A, B & C versions
Hope this helps
