I had the most amazing score on eBay. I know its not polite to brag, but I picked-up four pedals for just $au30 (including shipping) and one of them is a DF-2... a pedal I've always wanted to try. I wasn't sure they were even going to arrive because the seller had zero feedback when I bought them, but I thought it was worth the risk, and it sure payed off because they arrived in the mail today.
I'll likely sell all of these individually and I think I'll make a very healthy profit... if the DF-2 is any good I'll add it to the collection. I know from experience that I won't be too impressed with the DOD Flanger, but the other two pedals have potential too
Nice find! That TS-10 is probably at least worth $50... or you could sell the DOD and the Arion pedals and make more than you spent to buy the set - you'd net money in your pocket and two free (and good) pedals!
Thanks man, its especially good news because a differnt eBay win I've had (for a GNX3000) might have gone south... its been nearly two weeks without a response from the seller. I've not had many bad eBay experiences so I'm philosophical about it... still, I will be pursuing the matter through the eBay resolution centre. Not sure how that's going to go, but I did pay via PayPal so I'm quietly confident... or am I being too optimistic?
Great score!! Heck... the knobs off the Arion alone are probably worth $10 to someone who is reconditioning an SCH-1. Say..... you wouldn't want to sell me the knobs off the Arion, eh?
Haha - maybe. Though it seems that some versions of this pedal are well regarded too (the "gray" version?) so there's a chance it might actually sound ok. My first ever pedal (20 yrs ago) was an Arion Metal Master... at the time I thought it was kickass... :-)
VERY NICE score... And you are welcome to brag all you like.
