I was wondering if there were any problems with noise with the DD-7. Half the reviews on Harmony Central had noise problems and half didn't. I would expect conistently either one or the other. It's a replacement for my now non-functioning MIJ DD-3 and a horrible Carl Martin delay.

Welcome to the forum from Australia.

There was a thread 6-8 months ago, where a few members talked about their DD-7's

I belive one of the members returned thiers for this same reason.

Yet many other are happy with their DD-7's.

I belive Laurie mentioned that he heard that there was a problem with some of the DD-7's in the early production batch.

Perhaps some of the other members will chime in as well.

I don't notice any noise with my DD-7. Some people do complain about added hiss and noise but this could be due to a bad power supply, or maybe like Dr. Bob said, problems with early production batches.

The only time i've heard any extra noise is when the effect level is turned right up to max.
