Hi all,
One for the technically minded - I've got a few delay pedals - the DD3, PS2 and DM2.
I use three delay times, 270,320 and 420 ms. Is it possible to modify a delay pedal so it can support three different delay times?
I'm thinking as the delay time is a pot - could you have three identical pots (Mounted in a larger case) and switch between the pots, giving three different delay times?
If anyone with a better understanding of electronics than me can come up with an answer - please let me know.
Cheers, Mat. |

it is possible to do... not very hard to do either... BUT, it will take a lot of space, because you will need 3 at least dpdt switches, if you want leds for it you will need 3pdt switches...

Hi,
Theoretically can be realized but personally I would not recommend it you. Better to use different delays with LS-2 line selector or you can procure a DD-6 with tap tempo function (perhaps DD-5 plugged in a FL-5U into tempo connector). This idea can do your expectation without any major hardware modification!

You could also buy something like the Line6 DM-4, the greenish delay modeler in which you can store multiple presets. That pedal always seemed really cool to me. |
