I'm just about to do some maintenance on my MIT BF-2 (switch cleaning, grommet replacement, 1�F capacitor replacement, etc).
While I have the back off, I'm thinking of doing a mod to it. The only "simple" mod I can find is as follows: "Take out C7 (.047uf) and stick in a .01uf cap in its place and see if it makes a difference in terms of how high you can crank it and still like it. Actually, you can do the same for C21, which is also a .047uf cap."
Does anyone have any experience with this mod or other mods? I'd like a bit more depth and more smoothness...
