Well, I guess I started this thread for a reason... But it got me thinking about my old, departed gear too much!! Just picked up an Alesis Quadraverb GT on, ummm, you-know-where. Looks to be nice condition for $100.
OK, now if only I can find that old Teisco blonde strat...

none, because i haven't yet and don't plan to...until the poverty kicks in...but i'll bask in my financially stable glory until then...but in truth it really just has to do with the fact that i somehow find uses for every piece of gear i own...and even if i'm not using some of it i know that at any given time i can hook it up and get going...besides, having a ton of gear just looks cool when it's all setup...

lessee...
in any order (with price i sold them for, all sold since 1998): 1964 fender champ $150 1965 fender vibro champ $150 1968 fender twin reverb $525 1998 gibson sg-z mint condition $400 store credit (2 years after my harmony central review, i received about 39 offers to buy this from me) entire set of original ibanez 9 series pedals @$40-50 per.
a funnier and less depressing list would be gear you most regret buying :) |
