Here's a mounting kit with link-like brackets and screws:

I have a set that I used to use for fancy boutique pedals.
You can also remove two opposing screws (on the diagonal) from the pedal and run longer screws up through the bottom of the pedalboard and into the existing holes in the pedal.
Both of these options are great if you don't alter your pedal arrangement very often. Otherwise it's a hassle to move pedals around. |

I'm a bit of an organizational freak.. don't mind me. One of my problems though is keeping signal lines away from power runs though.. |

| plastic cover (I use scotch tape to make sure the plastic clings to the plate, and at the same time don't use strong adhesives like epoxy to the plate's surface). then I apply the velcro to the plastic-covered surface. |

Thanks for that link, there is some very useful stuff on that site and reasonably priced too. I like the compact looking 9v supply, I have one of those power bank things which is a bit large and heavy. How many times have I put together my 'perfect', 'ultimate' pedal board only to re-jig everything after about a year I wonder?
Anyone got any views on those fixed jack to jack barrel connectors? Some are really expensive but it looks like you can pick up the Neutrik ones quite cheap in some places (see link below). I was just wondering if there is a reason why more people don't seem to use them.

Some people don't like using them, because they don't flex, when you step on adjacent pedals. Putting excessive stress, on the sockets of the pedals.
Ask Laurie, how many cracked Boss input-output sockets he has replace in just the last 2008 year?
And in their defense, some people, don't seem to have any problems with them.
I have found that if your pedals are on a fixed & rigid/hard surface, there seems to be less of the movement/flexing, than you would get if you had your pedals on carpet, or on a carpet & Velcro backed pedal board.
Hope that clears things up?

Thanks for that, a very important consideration
