So I'm looking for another delay. These 2 have caught my interest, DD-3 and PS-3.
I know the PS-3 has a lot more delay time (not really needed) and, of course, pitch shifting (which would be nice for chorus and octave stuff), but just in terms of the delay sound quality, are these 2 pedals comparable?
Is it worth the extra $$ for the extra features on the PS-3?
I don't like the PS-3 that much, bought it and had it on my pedal board for about 30 minutes then changed back to DD-3. I think the delay is cold, harsh and metalish sounding compared to DD-3.
really the delay of the PS-3 it is more digital more cold... I agree with Mesjoggah... but the PS-3 has positive side:delay up to 2000m, input for expression pedal that you can make cool effects...I would buy PS-3 first in his case.... later you buy a DD-3 that is in any corner
