P.S...I'd love to check out one of the teese wahs but by the time i got it shipped and import tax it would be nearly 300 just for a wah ... think i'll just get a new pot for my crybaby and do the stinkfoot true bypass mod....
Is there no store who sells them in Ireland? I know a few stores in Belgium who sell them.
We don't see much of the 'boutique' stuff in Ireland...a new 'superstore' opened last year promising all sorts of stuff in stock and when i went over across the city to have a look they didn't even have the guitar cables in stock they had advertised on their website......i also enquired about the LR Baggs M1 pickup they were supposed to have in stock only to be told they couldn't find it...i went back a week later to be told by another salesman they had sold it a month earlier..one Baggs pickup in a 20,000 square ft shop the size of a small warehouse....although to be fair i was in Mannys in NYC in 2002 and i enquired about the EH holy grail reverb pedal that had just come out and the salesman looked at me like i had two heads and EH pedals are made in NYC...he didn't have a clue what i was talking about.. ...for the last few years i've mostly bought my stuff off Thomann as i find them 100% to deal with and it's normally on the doorstep within 5 days of ordering it.....
I suppose you could say it's the effect i hate.... the effect of having to drive 5 miles across town in saturday afternoon traffic to find out they don't have what i want in stock even though they advertised it on their website........
