Those old sound city amps are good but not that good... they were the pre-runner to Hi-watt but not as well built...i remember when i was younger they couldn't give away the sound city stuff because it was classed as junk and had a bad name for breaking down..but then some of the older guys on the scene when i was young told me stories of marshalls going on fire in the middle of gigs.......
The WH-1 still has some staying power. I think it'll go back up to the higher prices, but it was clearly $900+ last year for such an example. I'll accept the fact that I'll never own one. I just need an SG-1 and SP-1 instead.
