I was just reading the description of the ds-2 pedal and noticed the reference to Kurt cobain. He used a Ds-1, not a ds-2.

I just repaired my DS-2 and heard it again for the first time in months. Definitely not Kurt.

Off topic - the DS-2 I own has 12mm (half inch) pots. Weird little buggers. Had to use a 9mm pot and extend the legs to make it fit.

kurt always used the DS-1 up to bout halfway thru the nevermind tour where he switched to the DS-2. He used the SansAmp Classic for the in utero tour. He can also be seen using the aforementioned DS-2 if you look closely at your DVD copy of Unplugged for the lead bits in man who sold the world.
