The X2 seems to be the newest, most popular choice.. I know some people who were satisfied with their sound running through a digital multi-fx, but got rid of the wireless when they went to all-analogue stomps.
The digital system seems to be a novel way to reduce/eliminate taxi/airport interference.
For analogue systems, the Shure PGX or SLX offer much more flexibility, as well as the Sennheiser Evolution series (the Freeport is a 4-channel system, reflected by its price). |

Hi, If i was you i would look for a used Sennheiser wireless unit. Go with the highest series you can, For your budget. I have used them for years, And also use them at work in all size venues inside and outside. And use multiple units for, In ear monitors, Instruments and Mics. And the reliability and sound is top notch. |

Just bear in mind that the industry is changing (if they haven't already) the frequency range. |
