| If anyone has any cool mods they've tried on their Boss pedals, I'd love to hear about it. I've modded a few by following DIY kits from the net, but I'm always keeping my ears open for cool new variations. |

| I have heard that you sholld never ever fiddle with the trim-pots in the analog delays. Its nearly impossible to set them back to original positions. |

And from experience, I'll add that you shouldn't mess with the trimpot in the PH2. I managed to kill mine by tweaking it (RIP).
On the other hand, the trimpots in the BF2 are totally tweakable and tuneable. |

| Does anyone have some good tweaks for the BF-2? I like the sound of mine the way it is , but I'm always open to new ideas. |

| Try tweaking the trimpots as I mentioned above. It will give quite a variation in sound. |

| The trimpots are inside the pedal. They are white/ivory plastic. you can tweak them with a small screwdriver. It changes the frequency range of the sweep of the flange. |

| So I cracked it open(my BF2) and there are 3 trimpots. They are placed in a backwards "L" two on bottom one on top. Do they only controll frequency? Does it matter which I tweak? Do they all do the same thing? Thanks for your help. |

It's been a while since I did this, but what I did was:
*open the pedal *power up the pedal *plug guitar/pedal/amp in *strum the open strings *carefully tweak each trimpot with a small screwdriver until I had it where I thought it sounded cool *disconnect and reassemble the pedal
BE CAREFUL! |

As I mentioned above, the PH2 also has these trimpots, but after destroying mine by tweaking them, I wouldn't recommend anyone try it on theirs. |

| Trimpot adjustment is cool for a CE-2! My MIT sounds really cool after i tweaked it, now really warm whereas when i bought it I wasnt all that happy with the sound. |

HI Astatine,
Which way did you turn the CE2 pot and how much? I have an MIT version and am willing to mess around with it. Just want to get some ideas as it's quite a personal preference. Thanks |

The NF-1 does. Not eminently tweakable, but i thought mine was duff till i had a fiddle.
