Well I purchased a Black Label in New Old Stock condition... Mint in box... It wasn't cheap...

It has the MN3205 chip in it... so it is version 2.


I was just wondering if this pedal oscillates... and if it is worth keeping. Or do I want to find the older version 1 with the higher voltage?

I don't know what it sounds like as I just ordered it today.

If I was going to buy a DM-2 I didn't want it to have seen much use...
So I spent a little more.

And hopefully the trimpots have been left lone.

I have a good feeling they haven't been and they haven't drifted since it hasn't been stomped on much.

If it works perfectly as it should I may leave it in the box... stick it in the attic, and purchase another.

I have one of the migration models... and it self oscillates like crazy.... it's a super delay for slap back kind of stuff... but the "longer" delays are too grainy... (but that's been the case for every BBDelay I owned so far)

If anyone wants to hear DM-2's in legendary action go to youtube and search for Pearl Jam Neil Yound rockin in the free world MTV awards...


Neil and McCready bash out insane solos together using them...
It's almost orgasmic.

I have the DM-2A like youand it sounds wonderful!!! I really do love this pedal!!! Congrats and welcome to the board!
