A friend of friend of a friend knows someone who happens to have a RC20xl that has a switch failure on the right pedal when he wants to stop recording (is this the only thing the right pedal does?)
Now what i want to know is if this pedal has the same switches as a compact pedal as the fault probably lies in there.

Just checked mine... no, the switches are sub-miniature PCB mount. Very different to the compact pedal switch.
