What do I mean with this?
Simple: Pedals which do have the stickered paperlabel with the s/n in the batterycompartment, but at the same time have a backplate which says use a coin to open batt. compartment, a black screw and the TWO holes in the batt. compartment, just as some the older pedals with the silver screw have.
I have a SD-1 which fits this category. Serial number: 066400
When was this pedal made? I guess 1980, this is based on what I have heard so far about the dating of the paperlabels inside the batt. compartment.
Guess this SD-1 is one of the first ones, it is much heavier that its newer version, the metal case has rounder corners, looks a bit like the TW-1.
Are there any other people here who do have pedals which fit this category? How do the pedals compare cosmetically to newer versions of the same pedal?
Please post your results, and perhaps we can get the paperlabeled s/n discussion going again, as I am not too sure how it works.
