Yep. Our Canadian national women's hockey team is by far the best women's hockey team in the world.
Here are a few of their accomplishments.
gold medal: 2001 World Championship: Minneapolis, USA
gold medal: 2000 World Championship: Mississauga, Canada
gold medal: 1999 World Championship: Espoo, Finland
gold medal: 1997 World Championship: Kitchener, Canada
gold medal: 1994 World Championship: Lake Placid, USA

gold medal: 2002 Winter Olympics: Salt Lake City, USA

Team Canada also competes in the Three Nations Cup. This championship features the top three countries in women's hockey: Canada, USA, and Finland. They claimed the gold medal in 1996, and in 1997 they claimed the silver medal, losing to Team USA by a score of 3-0 in the championship game. This was the first international championship that they have ever lost.

ive been a Penguins fan since 1991 and i think this may be their year. or the Canadians might win it.
Im living in Ottawa right now and there were MANY sad faces the day after they were sweeped 4 straight by the pens |

Hello stratosphere.....+1 with pedals4pv ...where you been hiding.....you must of got a hold of that vintage fender amp/beer coaster you have been drooling over for the last while .... did the future father in law give it to you yet..??... .... sorry for going off topic but i don't know an lot about ice hockey....gaelic football,hurling,rugby and soccer are the big sports here...personally i play a bit of waterpolo which can be fairly rough as well..... ......  |
