Actually, let me correct that: I think the vibrato is the feedback portion of the phase shifter without the original guitar signal. Although eventually I must find my Craig Anderton book to be sure.
Speaking of which, I know that it is not really part of the current-compact-pedal-design from Roland, but that still really should be part of this site. It was the original effect.
