Yeah. I can't think of much else that would come to mind for anyone outside of the hardcore base.
I just put this link up because it seems to be getting difficult to find now because of copyright violations. Probably the funniest music-related SNL skit ever.
I laughed my ass off on SNL when Queens of The Stone Age were playing and the cowbell dude got up and played cowbell throughout the song Little Sister. Whats even funnier is that I didn'recognize Will Ferrell at first, and initially thought it was an intoxicated (former QOTSA member) Mark Lanegan jumping up onstage...
Here's a neat connection - I'm sure someone else must've noticed this - there's a DR-880 demo on the Roland website, and I don't know exactly what it's called, but during the really long video demo, about half way through the demo, the dude looks right at the screen and says, "I need more cowbell!"
