| It got lost in the mail? That's awful. Was it insured? |

Hi spatescroll
Was it really lost, or was it sent by SLOW Ship?
Laurie sent me some stuff via the Slow boat, it takes about 12 weeks from Canada, where he is.
BTW, yes I'm still waiting, but it's in the next few weeks or so.
I really hope it just got sent by slow mail-boat.
Regards Dr. Bob |

I buyed it with the write "free shipping" for around $240 from Australia. 10 working days were stated, a month is passed by. The "genius" included shipping, but not mentioned it wasn't insured neither trackable (for 4-5 $ dollars more I'd even payed), I belived this obvious for an high value package.

| Bummer Dude. I don't think that the Behringer sounds like a DC-2. Kind of similar, but not nearly as rich and delicious. |

Anyone else compared the two?
I'm thinking of buying the clone, if the sound is a good approximation.
Any thoughts? |

My 2 cents. Call me idealistic but I WOULD NEVER BUY A BEHRINGER PRODUCT!!!!!
All they do is buy other companies gear, tear it down, and rebuild there own versions, with much cheaper materials. Take a look at some of their products, and you can see what I am talking about. It is just wrong!!!!
They have been sued by just about every company out there, including Boss.
Do what you want, but please, don't support a company like this. |

I agree for the most part, but with a discontinued pedal such as the DC-2 I think it is a different story. The prices for second hand DC-2s are day-time robbery usually and if I can experience a discontinued pedal for a fair price I'm ok with it.
Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease let this thread not go there I really just want to know how the sounds of these pedals compare and let's have this discussion in a different thread |

I don't remember with who, but I traded a pedal with someone from canada. He got the pedal in a week, and I had to wait for like 2 month..
