I like "10-Q" (thank you) though, I hadn't seen it before.

Or should I say B4

Just kidding, Dr. Bob

Let me guess that your wah is from around 95. I can remember seeing bass wah's with that extra control, they came out first then the guitarversions appeared. I bought Dunlop is 91 and that still looks like the older version.

Another giveaway is the CE label, like with bosspedals they appeared a little later in the 90s.

You pedal also does have info about the adaptor, older Dunlop's did not have any of that info, or at least not that clearcut.

All the best.

I found an old catalog from '96 and there the model 535 is mentioned.
It was available in both regular black (BB-535) and chrome (CB-535), it had a 4 position multi-range wah switch (crybaby, mid/high, jimi hendrix and a mid/low) with dual LED indicators and selectable 0-11 dB pre-amp boost.
I quoted most of that from the catalog, maybe that helps a little.

Link? Remember this was 1996, way back when internet was practically unexistend.
We're talking about a real-life catalog here, you know, a booklet with pretty pictures on shiny paper

So, I did the next best thing and scanned in the page for you.
It's not much, but it makes a nice wallpaper

I guess we should ask Dr. Bob about that, he's somewhat the wah expert around here.

Not an expert on this, but just using common sense and a lot of experience: You have a modern wah which sounds more powerful than then conventional one. Changing the inductor to a fasel ( read older type potmeter ) would not make sense as it would make you wah sound worse that what you have now.

The common problem with older wah's is that they reduce your volume and clarity. Yes they do the wah trick, but with reduced soundquality. The wah you have was designed to overcome this problem.

If you are interested in testing an older wah next to your wah it may be an idea to get an older one and see what you think.

My feeling is that one of your four modes may be similar to the sound of an older wah, it will the mode which sounds least powerful. This mode will give you a good idea of what an older, conventional wah will sound like.

Dirk you are a star posting the page of the catalogue. Keep up the good stuff man!!
