I'm not a hardcore eBayer. I just love to snip at the end of the odd auction OR jump at a buy-it-now at a good price.
Missed an OK shape DD-2 for $55.00 about 1/2 hour ago.... sigh. would have been a cheap fix for my broken DD-2 (other thread in techinical issues), about a year ago, missed a DD-2 for $25.00.
What Have I found? Boss CH-1 for $25.00, and snipped a DD-2 once for about $67, grabbed a CS-3 for $16.00 that needs a new jack.
What Have I recently Missed???
A DM-2 for $19.95 about a month ago. WHAT - don't they know how to check "Completed Listings!!!!!" By the pic, it was in frigging good shape!!!! (these babies break $200 easy!!!)
A DSD-2 for $20.00 (ibid) This is a decent box, peculiar, usually gets around $100.00. Its a freak pedal, like the RV-3, you rarely see them beatup. Kind of pillow warmers or something...
What have I gladly missed
A VB2 go for $345 - has anyone ever found a use for it!
AND .... tundahdah ...
A SP-1 go for $840!!!!
So would be great to hear of anyones great eBay steals, rip-offs or just dang equipment that someone said was good, doubted it, emptied your paypal account and were blown away once you hoooked it all up!!!
My Fave, run two Boss DD-2s in Serial. One Long, with about 500ms, and short feedback, the one before it, run with delay time about 1:30pm, and level LOUDER than than last one. shweeeeeeeet. |
