| I'm wondering how everyone likes their NS-2s. One thing I'm curious about in particular is whether or not people with humbucker guitars perceive as much of a benefit as single coil people. Are there any tone sucking problems that anybody notices? Thanks. |

| I love my NS-2 so much that I actually own 2 NS-2s. I use one for my metal setup, running it last. And for that "band" I just use humbucker guitars. At home I use an NS-2 first with my Telecasters, and it gets rid of the single coil hum, yet doesn't affect my sound. Anyone who says this squishes their sound doesn't have it set right. I haven't noticed any tone sucking, if anything, it clears up your tone. Sometimes I'll notice the high end is a bit clearer when you turn in on, and I suspect thats just because some background noise has been suppressed, allowing the highs to come through clearer. |

Hi guys,
I also have noticed some mid range boost using NS-2: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3862
This phenomenon still existing, however I am using mainly with humbuckers. BTW, very usable pedal, no other major problem with it!
cheers |

Counting my NS-2, TU-2 and PSM-5, I have 15 compact pedals and a wah in my chain. The NS-2 stops all the unwanted pedal noise, even when I use some of my older pedals. I just use regular guitar cables, as I can't afford the ones spun from Rapunzel's hair by cloistered monks, and the NS-2 stops any unwanted noise from those as well. One of the most useful features of the NS-2 is the mute function, it allows you to engage the pedal and kill the input signal completely so you don't have to worry about a lot of hum and feedback developing when you are not playing. |

| I may have to pick one of these up. On the Musician's Friend site there are currently 249 reviews posted and literally only about 6 of them are bad reviews. I don't think I've seen that for pretty much any other pedal. My hesitation is that somehow it seems strange to buy a pedal that eliminates a negative instead of creating a positive. As one reviewer wrote (more or less) "What it does it does well, but it only does one thing". I get enough hum in my setup that I think I may want to do this. Thanks. |

| With my NS-2 if I set it right it is about as effective as my recordind software noise suppressor. The only negitive I've found is with the NS-2 on my clean channel, it acts like the signal is distorting some. So I would guess there is some signal gain happening with the NS-2. So I only use it on the od channels as that is only where it is needed anyway. |

Hey pedals 4 pv
You left out: Spun from Rapunzel's hair by cloistered monks, while their foreheads are anointed, by naked vestal virgins, with tissues bathed in sacred scented oils.
Now Defrag, I might have the quote a little incorrect, but can you remember where that one came from? No Pun or malice intended, I just couldn't resist the temptation, of using that line again.
