Hi Guys
My friend Justin, that I sometimes mention here in the forum, was selling off a few of his pedals & gear on EvilBay. & I managed to get another Arion SCH-1.
Now with the Boxes & Manuals I bought off SP-1 a couple of weeks ago, I have a complete SCH-1 - Box - Manual & even the protective bubble wrap it came in.
Now if I could just get one more, I could do my Tri-Chorus setup, using the SCH-1's instead of the CE-2's.... Hmmmm.
Regards Dr. Bob

Whenever I search Ebay for Arion, I discover that the SCH-1 is the only Arion pedal that people are actually bidding on. Every other Arion can be had for peanuts. I don't own one myself but if I can find one at a good price I might have to pick it up.

Hi bossarea
Please go & read the reviews. Believe me..... "Believe the hype!"
You didn't hear it from me or on this forum, but it's way better than the the Much loved & respected CE-2's & you know I have 6 or 7 of those, I lost count.
I now have two SCH-1's; Both have the all black case.
Even though there is no electrical or sonic difference, the ones in the Grey (Gray) main lower section cases, are rarer & therefore sell for a little bit more.
They look like they were made by the same people as the Rocktek pedal people. As also have an old & cosmetically similar Rocktek CHR-01 chorus, but it's a POS compared to the SCH-1.
They have attempted to re-release the SCH-1 as the ( SCH-Z ), and while it's nicer sounding then the Crappy Roctek CHR-01 chorus.
The SCH-Z it not a SCH-1 copy, it has an inferior sound to the SCH-1.
Check out some of the prices that a decent SCH-1 sells for?.
Rant mode off...
Regards Dr. Bob

Just kidding Guys...
The SCH-1 is happy to live here, for the next decade or so. They will all be left to the family.

Just picked one up myself finally. Needed some work (see the other thread about hinge repair) but I got it back together tonight and WOW. Best chorus ever. OK in mono, but use it as the stereo splitter and it's just excellent. Rich and textured. And great stereo imaging.

Hi Laurie Congratulations, & a Grey one as well.
I told you it was a killer of a chorus, the tone control is just one of its secrets. I've had one for a very long time, I really love my CE-2's, but nothing beats the SCH-1 for rich wet chorus.
They seem to be getting harder & harder to find here in Australia.

What prices do these normally go for and what would be a good price for one? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one after reading such praise about them.

Is there any mods to bring the SCH-Z to the SCH-1 specs?
